Service Availability & Inspection Disclaimer

Version 1.0 · Effective date: 2 May 2026

Critical disclaimer: WeldInspect Pro is a software tool. It does not certify products, approve welds, replace qualified inspectors or guarantee compliance with EN 1090, ISO 3834, ISO 5817, AWS, ASME, API, CE marking or any other legal or technical requirement.

1. Service availability

The provider aims to make the Platform reasonably available, secure and performant. However, availability is not guaranteed unless a separate signed Service Level Agreement expressly applies. Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, hosting incidents, network issues, third-party failures, force majeure, security events, customer systems or misuse.

2. Maintenance

The provider may perform planned or emergency maintenance to improve reliability, security, legal compliance or functionality. Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice.

3. Backups and exports

The provider may maintain backups for operational resilience, but customer-controlled exports and archiving remain the customer's responsibility. Customers should download and retain legally required records, reports, photos and documents according to their quality system and legal obligations.

4. Standards disclaimer

Standards, templates, labels and checklists in the Platform are workflow aids. They may not reflect the latest official text, national annex, project specification, contractual deviation or sector-specific interpretation. Customers must verify requirements against official standards, contracts and competent professionals.

5. Inspection disclaimer

The Platform does not perform physical inspection, visual testing, NDT, engineering review, welding coordination or professional judgement. Users must ensure that competent personnel inspect welds, record results accurately and approve or reject work according to applicable procedures.

6. CE dossier disclaimer

CE dossier features help organise evidence. They do not automatically create legal CE conformity, Declaration of Performance validity, notified body approval, factory production control compliance or market access. The manufacturer, contractor or responsible economic operator remains fully responsible for CE marking and related duties.

7. Report disclaimer

Reports are generated from Customer Data. If Customer Data is incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, misleading or unauthorised, reports will reflect those issues. Reports must be reviewed before use. The provider does not guarantee acceptance by clients, auditors, certification bodies, notified bodies, authorities, insurers or courts.

8. Risk allocation

Customers use the Platform as part of their own quality and compliance system. Project decisions, welding decisions, inspection decisions, repair decisions, release decisions and declarations remain the customer's responsibility.

9. Incident response

Customers should report service incidents, suspected security issues or export problems through the support or contact channels. The provider may prioritise incidents based on severity, security impact, number of affected customers and subscription level.

10. No professional advice

The Platform and its documentation do not provide legal, engineering, certification, welding, inspection, safety, tax, accounting, insurance or regulatory advice. Customers should obtain advice from qualified professionals where required.
